While studying for a degree in graphic design, Spencer began caring for pets in his own neighborhood to cover the costs of tuition. The organic growth of his client base through word of mouth and referrals backed by trust spurred the establishment of Recess!—the name harkening back to school days with the start of recess signaling the very best time of the day.
